Vegas ProAm Southwest Drift Series at Sandia Speedway
A weekend of drift car racing starts Saturday, September 5th when the Whiskey Garage Drift Series combines with the Vegas ProAm Southwest Drift Series for the fifth annual No Coast Drift Party at Sandia Speedway, 100 Speedway Park Blvd SW Albuquerque, NM 87121. Driver practice starts at 8 AM. The drifting competition starts at noon. It is $200 for the weekend to drive and $15 a day to watch. For $25 spectators can get a 2 day pass that includes camping at Sandia Speedway. Scheduled bands playing for Saturday night's party include Bear: The Nightmare and Vale of Miscreation from Albuquerque, NM. The No Coast Drift Party and Whiskey Garage Drift Series are organized by local professional drifter Dan Brockett. Dan has been organizing drifting events in Albuquerque for the past 5 years and provides witty and insightful commentary during the drift battles.
I was at this place last week. This is such a joy as a place for food! I had a beautiful time here. It reminded me of another center in Chicago. Beautiful, wonderful Chicago venues that had excellent atmosphere.
